Never Forever

Because nothing is permanent? Except hair dye of course.
It took a lot of self-persuasion to buy these fishnets after years of having to wear white tights as part of my school uniform... it looked hideous. It's an extremely scarring memory of the convent to say the least. Hopefully one day I will eventually overcome my phobia of white nylon. Also my top was a Christmas gift from my boyfriend and I have rarely taken it off since December. Happy Sunday! Xx

London Bridge

Here are some photos from this last weekend when my boyfriend came to visit :). Definitely not the most adventurous/ inspirational of outfit choices but a realistic picture of what I wear on a day to day basis. Slightly regretted the choice of crop top because of the freezing conditions but it's my fave colour so what can ya do really. My sister bought it for me and now I own it in pretty much every colour. I'm guilty of doing this for so many tops because I find it hard to find styles that actually fit and suit my bust/ waist ratio. Hope you like the photos as this has always been a favourite location of mine! It does attract drama though, moments before these were taken I witnessed a woman being arrested and my boyfriend nearly got into a fight haha. London never ceases to surprise. Xx

Velvet Valentine's

A Valentine's Day inspired look. Admittedly quite in advance but me and my boyfriend are having to celebrate it early this weekend due to long distance/ logistical problems.
I last wore these tights when I was a confused and emo(tional) teenager, but I recently saw someone else wearing them and it inspired me to dig them out again. Tights are v important and dernier is everything.
Outfit details below - wearing another gifted necklace from my birthday, my friends clearly have excellent taste hehe. xoxo

Holographic

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend! <3 I'm currently applying for countless jobs/ internships, thus in an attempt to procrastinate I took some outfit photos instead. The skirt is annoyingly so short that I have to wear shorts underneath it, wearing it reminds me of a skort I bought from GAP when I was about 11 years old lols. On that note, skorts should definitely make a comeback. Anyway, the fabric speaks for itself and it was only £7 from ebay so I'll forgive its compromising length. Also jumping on the fishnet bandwagon, hope you like. Xx

Silk & Feathers

I wore this outfit for my winter ball about a month ago but I have decided to *outfit repeat* for a good reason which is to take some nicer pictures in it hehe. I'm definitely attempting to emit the magical/ fluffy/ princess vibes... if that makes any sense. This is probs my favourite location to take tripod photos because of the lighting, especially when the sun starts to set behind the ivy. I also will admit to owning this jacket in 2 colours and soon to be 3 as I'm eyeing up the pastel pink version. If you don't own one you're missing out on feeling like a newly hatched baby bird, which is v important! Also obsessed with this necklace which was a gift from my best friend for my birthday. Xxx

Life Update ft. Bunny Backpack...

It's been the longest time since I've actually compiled a blog post so apologies if I am slightly rusty hehe. Not much has changed except from the fact I am now 21 and older than ever before. The last time I posted I was ready to go on my year abroad to teach in Germany. Lol well I had to go home for health reasons but on the plus side I'm now on a year out and have lots of time to document my monotonous lifestyle and outfit choices <3 Since it's been so long I've made some collages of the last 3/4 months. The main pics are of me in Durham in my bunny backpack/ pink coat, both of which my boyfriend bought me from ebay for my birthday. V 'kawaii' as one would say, much love xxxxxxxx
(Also I mainly update on instagram now http://www.instagram.com/immids but will also be using my blog/ maybs lookbook this year)

Summer Ball

Here are some photos from the summer ball which took place at Beamish Hall, it was a v pretty hotel (appreci8 the flower backdrop). The dress I wore is from H&M surprisingly and despite it annoyingly creasing every 5 seconds I love the colour/ fabric/ it's fabulous. Anyway, I've just finished my second year at Durham with a 2:1 (yay). It's so crazy how time flies... in a few months I'll be starting my year abroad by spending 6 months teaching in Germany. Xx
